Michael S. Gillespie is a life-long resident of Hawkins County. He resides in the farming community of Carter’s Valley. Married to Stacey Byrd Gillespie and has two children, Noah & Lauren. An avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. He began his career after high school at TRW (ZF) of Rogersville and dedicated 31 years to the company, with 21 years in supervision, front-line leadership and then as business unit manager.

Michael’s heart is in service and community. He and his family are active members of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He fully realizes the importance of faith, integrity, honesty and community involvement. He pledges to offer a dedicated work-ethic with transparency, accessibility to represent interests for all of Hawkins County.
